PE Funding

PE and Sport Premium Funding

Following the success of the 2012 London Olympics the government began providing additional funding to primary schools to spend on improving the quality and breadth of PE and sport provision for all their pupils.

At Spixworth Infant School we believe that P.E. and school sport contribute to the holistic development of our children.  Through participation, our children build and learn key values such as respect, co-operation and kindness for themselves and others as well as gaining from the health, fitness and well-being benefits of regular sporting activity. We are therefore delighted to be able to use the sport premium funding to support the development of P.E. and school sport in our school.

The sports premium reports detail the funding we have received, how we have spent the money and what impact this has had for our pupils.
